Ah, The Divinyls. They were divine when their sexy song 'I Touch Myself' reached the Top 5 in 1991. Sadly, that cooey, siren-like ditty will have to live on in karaoke bars and on retro video channels, because lead singer Chrissy Amphlett has succumbed to breast cancer and multiple sclerosis at the age of 53. She passed away yesterday at home her in New York City.

Millville police officer Christopher Reeves died early yesterday morning, after another vehicle slammed into his police cruiser.

The collision took place just after 2 a.m. Sunday, June 8 at the intersection of 3rd and Broad Streets in Millville, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutors Office.

Reeves was on patrol with a rookie Officer Jonathan Seidel in the passenger seat when a black SUV being chased by police collided with their cruiser, killing Reeves on impact. Seidel is currently awaiting arm surgery for an injury he sustained from the crash, but has been upgraded to stable condition at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.

SoJO has learned that disco diva Donna Summer has died at the age of 63. TMZ.com reports today that the singer lost a long battle with cancer this morning, she was in Florida at the time of her death.

Summer will be remembered for her string of 70's and 80's dance hits like 'Hot Stuff', 'Bad Girls', 'Last Dance', 'On The Radio', and 'This Time I Know It's For Real'.
