Young Jeffrey’s Song of the Week ‘She’s Feeling Young’ Rags on Brooke [VIDEO]

Today was Brooke of Brooke & Jeffrey in the Morning's birthday. Jeffrey's gift? To write a song all about her.

Every Friday during Brooke & Jeffrey in the Morning, Jeff his Song of the Week. They're not exactly 'parodies', most of the time they're more of a tribute.

This week, Jeff crafted 'She's Feeling Young' which we're also referring to as 'Brooke's Song'. He penned up lyrics all about his friend and morning show co-host, and it's a good thing Brooke has a sense of humor because he ragged on her a bit.

After carefully considering Wham!'s 'Careless Whisper' and Third Eye Blind's 'Semi-Charmed Life' for inspiration, Jeffrey settled on the melody of the Nina Simone classic 'Feelin' Good' to sing about Brooke's thick glasses, wine-stained teeth, and botched self-quarantine haircut, among other things.

We're surprised it's taken Jeffrey this long to dedicate a Song of the Week to Brooke, but it was definitely worth the wait for us AND for her. And, she was a very good sport about it. Happy Birthday, Brooke!
