Song of the Week — Young Jeffrey is ‘Hopeful’ We Can Salvage the Rest of 2020 if We Try [VIDEO]

No one person can do everything, but everyone can do something amid the racial injustice in our country. So, instead of Young Jeffrey singing Lorde's "Royals", it's "Hopeful".

Every Friday during Brooke & Jeffrey in the Morning, Jeff his Song of the Week. They're not exactly 'parodies', most of the time they're more of a tribute.

The murder of George Floyd has shaken America too its core. And, while Jeffrey wakes up every morning and gets on SoJO 104.9 to make everyone laugh, he took time today to, in his own unique way, spread some positivity and let us know that even if it's donating our time or opening up our wallet, there are many ways to show our support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Jeffrey is letting his emotions about the recent civil unrest out in song. Music connects us all. So, what better way to express his feelings about how 2020 has played out so far than through his 'Song of the Week'. It's been COVID, lockdown, riots, murder hornets (so far). And we're only halfway through the year. But Jeffrey is 'Hopeful' that the next six months will be easier than the first six.
