Young Jeffrey’s Song of the Week is ‘Dad to the Bone’ [VIDEO]

Every dad deserves an anthem. And, for Father's Day, Young Jeffrey broke out the big guns for his Song of the Week.

Every Friday during Brooke & Jeffrey in the Morning, Jeff his Song of the Week. They're not exactly 'parodies', most of the time they're more of a tribute.

For Mother's Day, mom got 'She Gave Birth to You' set to a famous Boyz II Men ballad. But for man like dad, no ordinary song will do. So, as his inspiration, Young Jeffrey chose 'Bad to the Bone' by George Thorogood. And Jeff's version of this rock classic is just as edgy as the original.

As for Jeff's performance wardrobe, no t-shirt or hoodie would have had the same impact. So, this week, Jeff broke out the shades and a leather jacket to channel that bad-ass attitude.

As for the lyrics to 'Dad to the Bone', from snoring to wearing khaki Dockers, Young Jeffrey's got dad's number, but he's also sympathetic. Jeff supports Dad's sad, bad jokes. And knows how hard it must have been to trade in his sport car for a mini van, lol.
