I remember in school having to ask for permission to go to the bath room.  But now officials at one area institution are requiring students to ask for more than just a hall pass.

Mahanoy Area High School Principal Thomas Smith tells 6ABC.com that a new policy that has removed toilet paper from specifically the boys' bathrooms was necessary because of constant vandalism in the loo.  Administrators in the front office are in charge of sparing a square since male students have become required to ask for toilet paper.

Toilet clogging in the boys' bathrooms at Manahoy High, located in the Eastern Pennsylvania town of Manahoy City, has been a repetitive problem over the last two years so something drastic had to be done to curb it.  But the new measure has not been popular among students or parents, as both have begun protesting the policy.
