Holiday On The Edge! Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

This weekend, I plan to begin my holiday strong point--baking!  Each year I add a non-traditional-type cookie, and the bacon chocolate chip has caught my attention.  Do you dare?Chocolate chip cookies with cookie pieces, butterscotch or peanut butter?  No problem.  But incorporating cured meats is maybe where I draw the line, lol.  If the reviews weren't so rave, I'd not even consider it.  I stumbled upon this recipe from Cooking Channel so I'm gonna give it a try.
