A South Jersey Guide to Apples, and What to Do with Them This Fall
When the seasons turn to fall, you start getting more cravings for an apple as crisp as the air. We're cluing you into which apple varieties are awesome for baking, and which are delicious just for snacking.
Personally, I only eat TWO kinds of apples: Honeycrisp in the fall and winter, Pink Lady in the spring and summer. Those would be my primary picks for both snacking and baking. Occasionally, I like to throw in half a Granny Smith if I'm making a green juice, but that's really rare. I'm a creature of habit when it comes to apples.
But there are SO many options, especially with more varieties in season this time of year. Hopefully, this short guide to apples can help make for a delicious fall with your family.
