New Jersey State Police Chase Speeding Car, Find Pregnant Passenger in Labor
When New Jersey State Police rolled up on a speeding car that was evading them, they didn't expect to find a woman in labor inside.
That's what happened around 11 p.m. Friday night on Route 17 in Ridgewood. Troopers had reportedly been chasing a car going well over the speed limit for a few minutes, and when they finally got the driver to pull over, they did so with guns drawn, according to 6abc.com.
But the driver wasn't running away from the cops for no good reason. And when the situation of the pregnant woman about to give birth became clear, the police escorted the vehicle to a nearby hospital.
