Mount Holly's newest police officer is not only seven years old, but he's also a superhero after beating his brain tumor.

Darien Hoefling got his wish to be amongst the men he admires most on Thursday, NJ.com reports. The young boy, also known as 'Deej,' spent three weeks in Alfred I. duPont Hospital las summer battling his brain tumor.

During this time, Deej was unable to do any sort of physical activities, so what did he do as a past time? He made beaded key chains for his local heroes, the Mount Holly Police Department, with the letters 'MHPD.'

And on Thursday, Mount Holly Police made him an honorary police officer ad superhero.

What did our superhero wear on his first day? An Avengers T-shirt and cape! The seven-year-old was even thrown a superhero-themed pizza party at the Mount Holly police station! So cute!

Deej tells NJ.com,"cops are superheroes because they keep Mount Holly safe." We couldn't agree more Deej, and you're one of those superheroes!
