This furry Bronx native was discovered on the lawn of two men from Stratford. Now she's finally found her way back home.

According to Philly.com, this pitbull-boxer mix was found in Stratford and taken to Voorhees Animal Orphanage. Thanks to microchip technology, staff members were able to trace its headquarters in New York City.

So when Rihanna's (yes, that's her name) owner got the call she burst into tears. Philly.com reports that her owner still has no idea how in the world she made it to Stratford from the Bronx, but she's happy to have her home.

Apparently, Rihanna went missing from her home THREE YEARS ago. Just imagine losing your furry loved one, and hearing on the other line that she is safe and sound.

Personally, if this ever happened to my baby Drake I would be devastated. Such a heartwarming story, and true testament to Voorhees Animal Orphanage's mission.

It also now makes me strongly consider a microchip for my own puppy.
