Why pay more than you should for a jug of fake blood this Halloween,  when you can make buckets of it with just four ingredients that you might already have in your kitchen! Excellent

When I was growing up, I had to make my costumes, and became pretty good with making up gooey, gross Halloween fluids that were pretty realistic.

This is how we do it:

  • 8 ounces of water
  • 16 ounces of powdered sugar
  • 1 one-ounce bottle of red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder to make it a nice DARK red

That will almost fill a pitcher, so cut it down if you want to make less than that.

When you mix those four things together, you should end up with something that looks just as realistic as the stuff they sell in the stores, for a lot cheaper.

An added bonus is that it's non-toxic, so you don't have to worry about your kids eating it. You can really freak people out and chug it!

And even if you have to buy everything, it shouldn't cost more than $10 to make.
