This mysterious head was found on the boardwalk back in November, and nobody knows who it is or who owned it.

The head was found near  Lafayette Avenue in Ventnor.  The only clue is a name followed by a year engraved on the back of the neck that says 'Hilda 72'

UPDATE:  According to CBS Philly, this story has a happy ending:

Ceci Ufberg called police after seeing the bust of her father on the news Tuesday.

Ufberg told police that the bust was made by her mother Hilda in 1972 or her father Dr. Samuel Shames, a dentist in Wilmington, DE.

Ufberg moved from Ventnor to Delaware last November.
