You might want to rethink getting that Double Whopper with cheese, when you find out how long it takes to burn it all off.

Home Remedy Shop has created a widget that calculates how long it would take to burn off eating those extra calories.

So, let's say I get a number one from McDonalds: Big Mac, Medium Fries and Coke. All of these foods together equal 1080 calories (btw for my body 2400 is sufficient enough for one day). Here's how much the break down of what I would need to do to burn this:

  • YOGA: 5 hours, 38 minutes
  • STRENGTH TRAINING: 5 hours, 38 minutes
  • DANCING: 3 hours, 45 minutes
  • RUNNING: 2 hours, 15 minutes
  • WALKING: 4 hours, 27 minutes
  • BIKING: 2 hours, 17 minutes
  • ROLLERBLADING: 2 hours, 49 minutes
  • CARDIO EQUIPMENT: 2 hours, 7 minutes

Yikes, definitely makes me change my mind on even bothering to eat it.

Now, I don't think this widget was designed to make you feel bad about eating fast food, because honestly if you want to eat it - enjoy it!

But, it's definitely a good way to make more conscious decisions when it comes to food. It's also a great thing to use if you're feeling a little bad, when you're supposed to be dieting.

I had to share it with you all because I was so fascinated by how much cardio it takes for one meal.

Try it out for yourself here.
