Where Are All the Saturday Morning Cartoons?

It was a rare Saturday morning for me.  I found myself with unexpected free time.  So naturally I decided to channel surf.  As I scrolled down the TV guide, I noticed there weren't many networks offering Saturday morning cartoons.  

I searched and searched and all I found for kids were reruns of Jack Hannah showing off whatever wild animal he was into that half hour.  I'm sure most of the kids these days click right over to Disney, Jr. and Nickelodeon, but I still missed seeing The Smurfs, Tom and Jerry, and my favorite, Scooby Doo.

And I know my parents loved Saturday morning cartoons because it kept my brother and I occupied while they cleaned the house and caught up on yard work.

I'm sorry, but Yo Gabba Gabba just doesn't get me going to same way.
