The Coolest (and Clearest) Shot We’ve Seen Yet of the Trump Plaza Implosion [VIDEO]
It's been a little over 24 hours since Trump Plaza in Atlantic City was brought down by an implosion. This video, which shows the collapse of the building in forward and reverse, may be the coolest angle we've seen yet.
It looks like our friends at NJ.com had cameras in a prime spot for the implosion. Most of the video we've seen has been from east side of the Atlantic City Expressway, around S. Mississippi Ave. and Columbia Place. But NJ.com's footage seems to come closer to Michigan Ave., on the backside of Caesars. Instead of being shot from the ground up, NJ.com's video, which we found on their official Instagram page, is taken from several stories up.
I particularly love how they postage their shot, in forward and then in reverse. It really is jaw-dropping how quickly the Plaza came down. You can see the shocks exploding one by one on the ground floor just before it crumbles like a house of cards.
The still shots are equally magnificent. Gosh, engineering is so cool, isn't it? How something that took years to build takes just second to bring down.
