Taylor Swift Invites South Jersey Teen To Award Show [VIDEO]

Sterling High School student Kevin McGuire has been the subject of an online campaign to make singer Taylor Swift his prom date.  Today via Facebook, Taylor has countered, inviting the Stratford teen currently battling cancer to join her at the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.In a new post to Taylor's Facebook wall she writes:

Kevin, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up.. Would you be my date? Love, Taylor

McGuire was diagnosed with leukemia five years ago and is once again fighting off the disease at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  Numerous friends, family, and even SoJO had been on a recent campaign to sway Swift into coming to South Jersey and attended prom will the ill student.  Instead, he'll get the trip of a lifetime on April 1st!
