The South Jersey dad whose kids bought a billboard ad requesting birthday wishes has been forced to change his phone number.

Chris Ferry, of Linwood, was literally inundated with voicemails and texts wishing him a happy 62nd birthday.

Ferry's two sons, who rented a giant sign that included Ferry's phone number, said “We thought it was going to be a local joke. I guess when we put it on social media, that’s when it really started going crazy.”, according to The Sun Sentinel.

The prank left Ferry no other choice but to have his phone number changed altogether.
