Imagine that you're driving to the shore and you run into some traffic.  It's not uncommon.  The traffic on Route 72  had very little to do with the tourists however, it had to do with a skydiving plane!

 

Stafford Township Police responded to a small plane needing an emergency landing on Route 72 and Route 9 in Ocean County.

 

According to 6ABC, the plane carried students from the Skydive East Coast skydiving school, lost power forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing on the grass median between the eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 72 near a Home Depot store.
