It's always bad news when you read about a multiple car accident, then when you read that two children were injured, it makes things ten times worse....

According to NBC 40, the accident took place at  'the intersection of Route 9 and Somers Landing Road.  Police say a silver Dodge Caliber made a left turn onto Route 9 from Somers Landing Road and was hit in the side by a 2006 Dodge pickup truck traveling on Route 9.'

The Dodge caliber sustained the most damage, and two children, both three and six, were in the rear seat.

All six people have been taken to AtlanticCare Regional Medical Mainland campus with various injuries.  No word yet on how severe the injuries are, we're hoping for all the best.
