Vineland Man Dies In Medical Van Crash on Route 55

A 73-year-old man from Vineland reportedly did not survive an accident that occurred Monday northbound on Route 55.

NJ.com reports that a medical transport van identified as a Tricare transport vehicle ran off the side of the road and into trees in the Franklin Township section of Route 55. The victim was identified as 73-year-old Angel Bermudez who was determined to be a passenger in the vehicle.

The driver was taken to Cooper Hospital in Camden where he was treated for injuries, but did, in fact, survive. According to NJ.com, the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
