Report Says One Injured in EHT Shooting Saturday Evening

A local news website is reporting that one person was shot Saturday evening in Egg Harbor Township.

UPDATE: We know now the shooting was a homicide - a 54-year-old man was killed. Details can be found here.

BreakingAC.com say the shooting happened on Cedar Avenue near Doughty Road. They are reporting that one person was injured.

BreakingAC is reporting that six shots were heard just before 7pm.

There have been unconfirmed rumors of a second shooting last night in another section of the township.

As of this writing, there has been no official statements from Egg Harbor Township Police or the Atlantic County Prosecutor' Office.
