While birds like this are a beautiful sight to see, it is unfortunate that these beautiful birds are showing up here in South Jersey.

A roseate spoonbill, like the one pictured above, was seen in Cumberland County. There have also been sightings of these birds and wood storks near Cape May.

Why?

Experts are blaming the recent hurricanes. The horrible weather conditions brought on by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma may be driving these warm weather birds north.
