Philly Zoo Says No Ostrich Stolen
It's all OK animal lovers, no one stole an ostrich from the zoo and rode it thru the streets of Philadelphia during last night's Super Bowl celebrating.
We told you earlier about outrageous tweets posted last night, supposedly referring to actual Philadelphia Police radio chatter.
Our post has gone viral, and has gotten the attention of, among others, the Philadelphia Zoo.
The Zoo's Director of Communications Dana Lombardo told me "Just want to clear up any rumors, NONE of our animals were taken/stolen from Philadelphia Zoo last night during the Eagles celebration. All of our animals are safe and sound in their home exhibits. Additionally, there are no ostriches that live at Philly Zoo."
We're now checking with the North Pole to see if Philly fans actually ever threw snowballs at Santa Clause. Stay tuned!
