No Arrests Made In The Shooting Of Community Volunteer

The community of Linwood, New Jersey is mourning the loss of April Kauffman.  The prominent local volunteer and radio talk show host was found shot to death in her home yesterday.  An investigation is underway as police search for a suspect and a motive.

The victim, 47-year old April Kauffman worked in South Jersey radio, and was also heavily involved with several charities working with veterans and senior about the community.  Kauffman's husband, James Kauffman, is a well-known Endocrinologist in Linwood.

Her body was found in the bedroom of her Linwood home by a house worker approximately 11:30 a.m. yesterday morning.  Authorities went door to door in search of clues.  Kauffman allegedly died of multiple gun shot wounds.
