Friday night's episode of 20/20 on ABC will break down the murder of S.J. radio host April Kauffman, her husband's involvement, and her daughter's plight to bring the killer to justice.

Seven people were indicted Tuesday in connection to the murder of April Kauffman as well as on conspiracy and racketeering charges.

James Kauffman, the 68-year-old doctor who remained under a cloud of suspicion for years in connection with his wife's murder, who was one of eight people recently charged in connection to her death, has apparently committed suicide in his jail cell.

In the biggest development to date, we can now report first that a major multi-jurisdictional law enforcement effort is presently underway regarding the 2012 murder of April Kauffman.

Update as of 9:30AM -- Dr. James Kauffman has been arrested during the execution of a search warrant at his Egg Harbor Township office.

New evidence shows community volunteer and Veterans advocate April Kauffman was severely injured but not yet deceased at the time she was found in her Linwood home, according to Press Of Atlantic City.

The program advocate April Kauffman was working on (shortly before her death) to give Veterans better access to health care has been approved.

The husband of April Kauffman, the local radio host found shot to death in her Linwood home, has retained an attorney and is cooperating with police, the Press of Atlantic City reports.

The community of Linwood, New Jersey is mourning the loss of April Kauffman.  The prominent local volunteer and radio talk show host was found shot to death in her home yesterday.  An investigation is underway as police search for a suspect and a motive.
