Police have concluded their search for a man who robbed the Chase Bank on Route 37 in Toms River on Tuesday.

A tip on the Toms River Police Facebook page led to Mount Laurel Police arresting Patrick Callahan, 45, of Toms River who has been charged on a warrant with his connection to the robbery.

On Tuesday December 31, 2019 police units were dispatched to the Chase Bank for reports of a bank robbery.

The suspect presented a note to the teller and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Ocean County Sheriffs Department Crime Scene Unit, K-9 Unit, and the FBI Red Bank Office assisted during this investigation.

Callahan will be lodged in the county jail pending a bail hearing in Ocean County Superior Court.
