New Keurig Machine Makes Jell-O Shots in Ten Minutes
For all the convenience it offers for making coffee and tea, it was only a matter of time before the makers of Keurig branched out. Meet the Jevo. The new Keurig-made machine uses pods to crank out alcoholic shots in a matter of minutes.
If you need Jell-O shots and you need them fast this device is for you.
So how did the masterminds at Food and Beverage Innovations dream this up? “We were sitting here looking at technology like Keurig and Soda Stream, where you choose the flavor pod and the machine does the work, but there was nothing around the archaic, time-consuming and inconsistent process of making gelatin,” says company head Jeff Jetton, according to People.com.
The machine launched last week at the Nightclub and Bar Show in Las Vegas.
The Jevo can go beyond making alcoholic gelatin, like WAY beyond: Food and Beverage Innovations has run a pilot project in which the Jevo was used at a renal-care center to deliver Jell-O shots laced with additional protein to patients.
No word yet on if a version of the Jevo will become available to the average consumer to purchase. For now, only those in the bar industry will have access to it.
