Here’s What’s Replacing Houlihan’s Restaurant in Cherry Hill, NJ
Don't be too sad that Houlihan's in Cherry Hill is gone because something new is coming in its place soon.
Houlihan's, which was located in Garden State Park off Route 70, closed its doors for good back in January, seemingly out of nowhere.
But a new tavern that is already established around the tri-state area is reportedly moving in.
According to 42 Freeway, Tommy's Tavern + Tap will replace Houlihan's. It's a restaurant and pub with a similar layout to Houlihan's, a bar and dining area, so the transition makes sense.
If you've visited the Christiana Mall in Delaware lately, you may have noticed Tommy's Tavern there. They're established in other New Jersey towns as well, including Sea Bright and Freehold.
The family owned and operated Tommy’s prides itself on serving swankier versions of classic pub food and cocktails, as well as entrees, so that's got my attention.
I'm looking forward to the menu at THIS Tommy's Tavern, since 42freeway.com reports that the Bridgewater location serves both brick oven pizza AND sushi!
And how do you fancy Cherry Coke BBQ Ribs? Say, 'WHAT?'!
Tommy’s Tavern + Tap was founded by Garden State native Tommy Bonfiglio about eight years ago.
For the record, if you TRULY love the Houlihan's experience, there's still one open in Brick Twp. up in Ocean County.
