The 2009 Millville High School graduate, now a professional baseball player, has achieved his 30th home run of the year for the Los Angeles Angels, a first for a rookie.

PressofAtlanticCity.com reports today that a double header against the Texas Rangers Sunday paved the way for Trout, an outfielder, to put a few history making statistics on the books.  He is now the youngest MLB player to hit 30 home runs and steal 30 bases in a single season.

Additionally, according to ESPN, Magic Mike is the first rookie to put up 30 one-season home runs and 40 one-season stolen bases.

And if those records aren't impressive enough, the history making 30 home runs, 45 steals and 125 runs scored in a season should do the trick.  Trout is the first ever player in Major League Baseball to do so.
