A father from Mays Landing has been charged with child endangerment after police say he drove drunk Sunday with his two young children in the car.

The incident took place along Route 30 in Galloway Township around 9:30 a.m., according to NBC40.net.  Police stopped a car being driven by 30-year-old Paul Dessicino of Mays Landing after receiving a 911 call from another driver who witnessed Dessicino's car driving erratically and nearly overturning.  His children, 4 and 5 years old, were in the vehicle at the time.

Dessicino was found to be intoxicated.  Additionally he was charged with heroin possession.

The kids were not injured and were sent home to their mother.

Dessicino's bail has been set at $10,000. He also faces charges of endangering children.
