Th officer investigated and discovered 11 different packages in the woods. The packages were valued at $288.87. According to NJ.com, "Police allege he was hiding the items and planned to return later to retrieve them, according to his summons."
The driver has been identified as Desmond Gould, 23, of New Castle, Delaware.
Amazon, according to NJ.com had this to say about the incident: “This does not reflect the high standards we have for Delivery Service Partners,” company spokeswoman Leah Seay said. “We take these matters seriously and can confirm this individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages.”
