Here Are South Jersey’s Most Haunted Roads, According to You
There are some roads you drive on in South Jersey, especially at night, that make your heart beat a little faster.
We recently asked on the wall of the SoJO Facebook Fan Page what local roads give off a 'haunted' feeling. Dawn Diamond and Michael Roque cringe driving down Jimmie Leeds Road and Oyster Creek Road in Galloway because of the origins of the Jersey Devil. Linda Pancrazio and Steve DiCicco say it's Piney Hollow Road between Buena and Vineland! Tammy Piwowski says even stretches of Route 55 freak her out!
In the past I've said Hesstown Road in Millville, especially this time of year, feels like something out of the movie Deliverance. I also used to get a bit spooked by stretches of Route 206 around the Nesco area. Here were some other responses to our post:
