According to ABC News, rap artist French Montana  was riding his tour bus after a performance at the Theatre of Living Arts, and as it pulled up in front of a Holiday Inn Express with a group of fans following behind, a car drove by and opened fire.

Two people were hit by stray bullets, TMZ.com reports.  A 27-year-old man who later died, and a 29-year old man who was shot in the shoulder. Philadelphia Police believe there appeared to be a dispute between two groups of fans, but that Montana was not involved.

French posted this photo on via Instagram shortly after the incident showing a person seemingly being questioned by police.

The shooting comes just one month after French's MMG label head, Rick Ross, dodged bullets in an apparent drive-by shooting in Florida.
