On Friday's Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report, there is good and bad news heading into the division rivalry game with the New York Giants this Sunday that will impact both sides of the ball:

Let's start with the Good News which is arguably the most important player available for Sunday's Game: Darius Slay is cleared to play versus the New York Giants.  Slay is having a major impact on the Eagles Defense this season and he is one of the highest-rated Cornerbacks in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus.  Going against a Giants Offense with dangerous Receivers like Darius Slayton and Kenny Golladay, Defensive Coordinator Jonathan Gannon will need "Big Play Slay" on the field to make more plays this Sunday in North Jersey.

The Bad News is the Eagles will be without Running Back Jordan Howard due to a knee injury.  Before Sunday's win over the Saints, Jordan Howard was averaging 70.3 Rushing Yards per game and had a total of Three Rushing Touchdowns.  Without Howard on Sunday, the Eagles Running Game still got 110 Combined Rush Yards from Miles Sanders and Boston Scott.  Since Head Coach Nick Sirianni changed the focus of the Eagles Offense to a Run First Attack, Howard had served as the "Power Back" and a change of pace guy while Running Backs like Boston Scott and Miles Sanders would serve as the most explosive playmakers.  The only silver lining to this is we have already seen the Eagles keep running the ball without Howard and Philadelphia's opponent this Sunday is a Giants Defense that is 23rd in the NFL in Rushing Yards Allowed.

At Friday's Press Conference, Head Coach Nick Sirianni talked about the Eagles-Giants rivalry:
