On Wednesday, the Eagles' latest Injury Report and COVID-19 news bring a mix of good news with a continued "wait and see" with several players.  The latest Injury Report continues to leave the status of Running Back Jordan Howard and Safety K'Vonn Wallace in question for this Sunday's game at Washington:

Yesterday the Eagles brought back Running Back Kerryon Johnson, who was at Eagles Training Camo back in August, to fill the void on the depth chart with Miles Sanders ruled out for Sunday and Jordan Howard's status still uncertain.  As we explained earlier this week, Jordan Howard has a medical history with a "Stinger" and he missed six games last time he played.

Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni spoke again to the media today about Jordan Howard and after Monday's non-committal message about being "hopeful", Sirianni continued to paint a positive message without committing to Howard actually being ready to play or not this Sunday:

As far as Jordan (Howard) goes with his injury, he's just working like crazy to (play) and obviously, we're aware of what happened two years ago, but he's just working like crazy to get back and get himself ready to go for this game.  We're aware of the injury last time, we know what went down with that and everything, but it's a separate injury (this year) and we're just treating it that way and trying to get him back for this football game (this Sunday).  And he’s working, him and the trainers and the doctors and our strength staff, are working like crazy to get him ready.

The good news the Eagles got on Wednesday was several players were coming off the Reserve/COVID-19 List that will add some needed depth ahead of this Sunday:

With Derek Barnett's status still in question ahead of Sunday's game, getting Tarron Jackson and Ryan Kerrigan back are important reinforcements for the depth at Defensive End.  Kerrigan and Jackson have combined to play 500 snaps on Defense this season, which will be valuable if Barnett is unavailable considering the 2017 First Round Pick has played the most snap of any Eagles Defensive End this year (676).

Philadelphia also is getting backup Tackles Andre Dillard and Le'Raven Clark back ahead of their game at Washington in Week 17, which provides much-needed depth on the Offensive Line.  With Jack Driscoll in Injured Reserve, Isaac Seumalo out for the season, and Brandon Brooks status to return still unknown, it is important for the Eagles to have all hands on deck so getting Dillard and Clark back is a real positive.
