Dangerous Jellyfish Found Swimming in South Jersey Waters
One unlucky South Jersey swimmer found out how dangerous this type of jellyfish is, after an incident in the back bay waters.
NBC10 reports, clinging jellyfish have made their way into New Jersey back bay waters, and is very dangerous.
Within the video, victim Matt Carlo suffered from charley horse after being bitten by a clinging jellyfish. Reportedly, his entire body was in pain no matter what he did.
If you want things to get scarier, two little girls were collecting these clinging jellyfish! Thankfully, they caught three clinging jellyfish without injury.
These clinging jellyfish are being found in a lagoon in Monmouth County. There's currently no information on how they managed to find their way down here, but researchers are investigating.
