The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is creating emergency meal kits with nonperishable proteins, vegetables, pasta, tomato sauce, cereal and snack items — enough food to sustain a family for several days. And, right now, they're in need of donations.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey says they are distributing a record amount of food right now to neighbors in our community, and the need is growing daily. Hundreds of thousands of those in need are reportedly children and senior citizens in the wake of the spread of coronavirus.

If you've been looking for way to support the community during this difficult time, we urge you to consider a donation to the Community FoodBank of NJ. Every little bit helps.

Please help them feed the most vulnerable individuals and families in our area by visiting CFBNJ.org.

*Please note that, for the health and safety of our community, CFBNJ cannot accept food donations from individuals at this time. If your company or transportation service has an overage and would like to donate leftover product, please contact Gleny Herlihy at gherlihy@cfbnj.org.

The Community FoodBank of NJ Southern Branch is located at 6735 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Twp. Call 609-383-8843 for more info.
