Thursday's Feed South Jersey Radiothon raised enough money to provide over 81,000 meals to the hungry of Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland Counties.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is creating emergency meal kits with nonperishable proteins, vegetables, pasta, tomato sauce, cereal and snack items — enough food to sustain a family for several days. And, right now, they're in need of donations.

It's been nearly three month since Hurricane Sandy struck the eastern seaboard.  While recovery efforts are in full swing, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey wants to remind everyone that they continue to support victims of the superstorm, and donations are still very much in demand.
