Best and Worst Dresses from Emmy’s Red Carpet
It was a sea of greens and blues on the 64th Annual Emmy Awards red carpet! I loved seeing so many pastels, but there were a few neons I didn't exactly light up for. Find out which star topped my list (here's a hint: she's wearing this little stunner to the left) , who bottomed out, and who was most improved!
#1 Best Dressed--Heidi Klum in Alexandre Vauthier
Ok, so I know, she's a supermodel and looks great in everything, but the Project Runway host really hit the mark in this whispy, minty plunging gown.
Heidi's loose, wavy hair seemed effortless yet glamorous. She paired the dress with monochromatic jewels and stilettos.

#2 Best Dressed--Emily Van Camp
The Revenge star continued the muted and transparent trend of the carpet in this detailed, grey J. Mendel.
Emily also sported my favorite accessory of the evening, a compelling, blinged-out bow-tie bracelet.
Best Dressed #3--Sofia Vergara
The Modern Family actress sizzled in teal Zuhair Murad. Later in the evening this gown would split straight down her derrier, a fact the star shared via Twitter during Emmy's telecast.
Best Dressed #4--Lara Spencer
Not sure who designed the Good Morning America co-host's royal blue gown, but the shoulder detailing, rouching, and slit hit Lara in all the right places.
Best Dressed #5--Kat Dennings
2 Broke Girls leading lady looks poured into her blood red strapless J. Mendel. Her loose, flowy waves are a perfect compliment to this gown's sweetheart neckline which appears to be holding onto Kat's cleavage for dear life.
Worst Dressed Award--Leslie Mann
There were more hits than misses on the Emmy red carpet, but I just couldn't give a pass to Leslie's Naeem Khan frock. The dress looked a little matronly on the actress. I'm attributing that to the high neckline and voluminous waistline which cut Leslie's tiny frame in half.
Most Improved Award--Tina Fey
This Merlot-hued Vivienne Westwood column gown gave Tina Fey her most beautiful red carpet moment to date. The jeweled neckline was insanely flattering on the 30 Rock star, and the figured hugging cut was quite daring for the funny lady who usually plays the red carpet conservative. Well done Fey!
Worst Hair Award--Ashley Judd
I had planned to award Worst Hair to Connie Britton, until I saw this skyscraper of a coiff on Ashley Judd. Her stylist should be fired for going mad with a teasing comb.
