5 Ways to Clear Brain Fog on Those Unproductive Days
Are you experiencing it now? Brain Fog? With the busy schedules we all keep, is it any wonder why? Here's how to clear it and be more productive.
It's something that just comes over you. Your mind clouds over and sets up a mental roadblock that leaves you feeling tired and so not in a space to tackle your to-do list.
I get brain fog more than I care to admit. Yes, it's worst after nights where I was sleep-deprived, or when a hangover is involved, and even when there's a lack of sunlight. But most often, my bouts with brain fog come from and overwhelming list of tasks and a lack of being able to figure out what to do first. So, the fog just settles in.
But Dr. Kristen Willeumier has some great advice on the topic. The neuroscientist has even written an entire book dedicated to clearing brain fog with author Sarah Toland called 'Biohack Your Brain: How to Boost Cognitive Health, Performance, & Power'.
Here are five of Dr. Willeumier's suggestions for how to help it evaporate and get your mind back to business.
5 Ways to Clear Up Brain Fog
I plan on keeping Dr. Willemier's techniques for banishing brain fog on my refrigerator kitchen and taped to my computer monitor to remember to practice them. Let me know if they help you out, too!
