You Don’t Have to Drink on St. Patrick’s Day to Have a Good Time
St. Patrick's Day is almost here, and typically celebrating this holiday involves throwing a few back with friends or family, participating in a parade, and generally having a grand ol' time! But what if you're not a drinker?
Here are some fun things to do for the Irish and Irish-at-Heart who won't be drinking on St. Paddy's Day.

Let your green flag fly and watch one of the many St. Paddy's parades in the Garden State.
Parades are a HUGE part of St. Patrick's Day festivities. In fact, parade fever has already hit the Garden State with Hoboken and Belmar both hosting their annual St. Patrick's Day parades over the weekend. Next up are the annual parades in both Atlantic City and Seaside Heights.
The 30th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Atlantic City is this Saturday (3/11) at 1 PM, starting just north of the Garden Pier and the Boardwalk and ending at Albany Avenue and the Boardwalk.
Other weekend parades include Asbury Park, Seaside Heights and Wildwood at 11:30 AM. The Wildwood parade is set to head north up Atlantic Avenue towards Olde New Jersey Avenue.

Get the popcorn ready and settle in for a viewing party including some of the best St. Patrick's Day inspired movies like, The Quiet Man, Brooklyn, The Gangs of New York, and Leprechaun!
I'm a wimp when it comes to scary movies, so I would probably pass on Leprechaun...just saying.

Why not change things up in the kitchen and prepare an authentic Irish dinner? My wife, who is Irish, always looks forward to having a corn beef dinner with cabbage, potatoes and carrots. Don't forget my personal favorite, the Irish soda bread!
