The 5 Love Languages: New Jersey Edition
Love languages seem to have become a big thing over the recent years.
Well, it may have been a big thing before, but I just learned about them via TikTok recently.
For me, my love language is gift-giving. I truly love finding the perfect gift for someone, sending friends gifts for different life milestones, and sending gifts as a pick-me-up when need be.
On the other hand, quality time is the love language I prefer to receive. We don't have to be doing much of anything, just spending time with my husband makes me feel loved.
When it comes to New Jersey, what would the love languages look like?
Let's find out.
5 Love Languages
1. Acts of Service
In New Jersey, an act of service would be helping the one you love rub sunblock on their back. ***Bonus points if they don't have to ask first***
As a very fair-skinned lady, this is huge for me.
2. Quality Time
For some New Jerseyans, quality time could be spending the day at the beach or a nice stroll on the boardwalk.
For me, my ideal quality time would be taking a hike at Cattus Island.

3. Words of Affirmation
If it was the mid-2000s, words of affirmation would sound something like, "I like your Snooki bump." If you know, you know...
Now, it could be something like, "I love the way you eat that pork roll." (Pun intended.)
4. Gifts
Some great gift options for a New Jerseyan could be an Italian sub, a pork roll, egg, and cheese, a Wawa coffee, or (depending on the season) bug spray for those pesky mosquitos.
5. Physical Touch
You may have noticed that this is a duplicate photo...
Honestly, I couldn't think of anything clever for physical touch besides rubbing sunblock on their back again, so that's what we're going with again.
