Fireworks have been hard to come by this summer. So many municipalities scrapped theirs because of New Jersey's ongoing struggles with the COVID-19 pandemic. So, if you feel comfortable about sitting outdoors and social distancing, Egg Harbor City's fireworks are going off at Egg Harbor City Lake Saturday night, June 11th at 7:30 p.m., according to the city's official Instagram page.

There will be limited capacity (only 500 people will be allowed), and gates at the lake will be closed off at 7 p.m. So, if you want to attend, it's probably a good idea to arrive early. You're invited to bring your own blankets and chairs, but keep in mind social distancing AND masks are required.

EHC's IG says there will be a live DJ and a food truck on site.

As for the weather, it looks like Egg Harbor City could receive an evening thunderstorm, so check back to their Instagram page for fireworks updates. There could also be some rain earlier in the day, so the ground may be wet.

If you go, have fun!
