Worst Package Delivery Ever?

I can't tell if this package was stepped on, had something dropped on it, fell off the truck, or was used in the opening scene of the movie Ace Ventura - Pet Detective, where Jim Carrey was the delivery guy...

They said that they have a case number on the situation and will look into it. I have no idea what that means. The package is still smashed. Jeeeesh!
