Woman Drives the Wrong Way on Garden State Parkway and Gets Arrested

Ever wondered what would happen if you ignored those 'wrong way, turn around' signs on the Garden State Parkway?

You would wonder for a split second, and then realize how dangerous that question is.  About 5:00AM yesterday morning, New Jersey police got a call about a woman driving the wrong way on the Garden State Parkway.  Of course, she was drunk.

She also ran over a curb in the State Police station parking lot.

According to authorities, 56-year old Colleen Johnson was traveling from the Atlantic City service area in the southbound lane, heading north, near milepost 51.  Johnson was charged with DWI, refusal to submit a breath sample, reckless driving, and driving the wrong way on the highway. (NBC 40)
