The Most Haunted Hotels in New Jersey
There must be a lot of people who like the idea of staying in hotels that may be haunted, because there is a website that is dedicated to just that. Hauntedrooms.com has a list of the most haunted hotels throughout the U.S.
Here are a few of New Jersey's most haunted hotels:
Hauntedrooms.com says that Hotel Macomber in Cape May is the most haunted hotel in New Jersey. The site says that one of the hotel's spirits is "a waitress in shabby clothing who haunts the dining room and kitchen."
Another of the hotel's ghosts only haunts Room 10 and only in the summer months.
Hotel Macomber isn't the only Cape May hotel to make the list on hauntedrooms.com. Angel of the Sea on Trenton Ave. is said to be haunted by a former guest named Miss Brown, who died in a tragic accident at the hotel.
Just north of Cape May, hauntedrooms.com says the Flanders Hotel in Ocean City is home to several spirits, including a red-headed woman, a child, a middle-aged man, and "a lady in white with long dark hair."
