If you've never been, check out New Jersey's only remaining drive in movie theatre in Vineland, The Delsea Drive-In Theatre.

The Delsea Drive-In opened in 1949 and operated until 1987 when it closed, do to economics and the advent of more home entertainment capabilities. It re-opened in 2004 and has been operating ever since, and is the only remaining drive-in movie theatre in New Jersey according to owner Doctor John DeLeonardis.

The drive-in movie theatre is a dying form of entertainment, due to property costs and the cost of the technology itself to make it all happen. But there is a nostalgic element in this unique form of movie entertainment that you can not get any where else in the Garden State.

Movie goers from as far away as Brooklyn, Texas, England and Poland have all enjoyed their movie experience as well as the locals from South Jersey who have been coming for generations.
