Beginning around this time of year,  many South Jersey Shore towns including Margate, switch the traffic lights from working lights to flashing yellow lights.  You will also notice the streets empty and quiet as a church mouse.  Something is terribly wrong here.   It's not only the cold reality that winter is around the corner in South Jersey, but the lights could cause a safety issue.  Some residents want to continue having working lights for all traffic lights, while others enjoy the pleasure of just driving through the streets with no worries.

What do you think?
