A 15-year-old girl is in critical condition after being hit by a car while crossing NJ-42 Southbound, Saturday night.

According to NJ.com, Gavyn Connolly, of Sicklerville, was crossing the southbound lanes near the Greentree Road intersection around 8 p.m. when she was struck by a 21-year-old driver.

Currently, no charges have been filed. But, she is in critical condition at Cooper Unviersity Trauma Center for Treatment. There's no news on the injuries either, and the 21-year-old driver who struck her is unharmed.

In the meantime, her high school, Timber Creek Regional High School, is sending their thoughts and prayers during this time.
