The Showboat Hotel is set to open the largest arcade in New Jersey on May 15th, a massive 103,000-square foot facility that will feature old and new-style arcade games, a sports bar, restaurant and its own boxing ring.
At a meeting Tuesday, CRDA approved several measures that will eventually impact Atlantic City's Tourism District, including more development at Stockton’s Atlantic City campus and the proposed waterpark at Showboat.
We originally thought that Stockton University was going to operate an island based campus and private hotel at the property formerly known as Showboat. That operation was delayed due to a 1988 covenant, which required the property to operate as a casino. Today, things could get even more interesting.
